As it’s the Royal Wedding Day and there’s plenty more telly to be watched and lots more ‘oo’ing and ‘ah’ing over Kate’s gorgeous dress to be done, I won’t beat about the bush….. I want to proclaim to the world that Akin do The Most Amazing Hand Cream! A’kin Lavender, Geranium & Jojoba Hand, Nail & Cuticle Cream is what it’s officially called and it’s sooo good.

Apart from the lovely scent, the thing I like best is that it’s so easily absorbed and doesn’t render your hamds all greasy and unuseable for ages after you’ve put it on. The Vitamin B5 and Vitamin E also help to make your nails nice and strong which is particularly important for an ex-nail-biter like me. It says in the blurb on the MyPure site that the shea butter and jojoba oil apparently nourish the cuticles too so I suppose that’s got to be an added bonus – but, hey I don’t know. Forget the science, forget the spiel, just take it from me and my daughter, this stuff works and it’s flipping brilliant.
